EM-CON Nottingham - Ep6: Breaking out | Trade Table
Last weekend, The Cosforge had the privilege of attending EM-CON Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena, and what a weekend it turned out to be.
Going into the event, we were excited to showcase our handcrafted cosplay armour, helmets and props to the convention community. What we didn't expect was just how warmly we would be received by attendees, fellow traders, and the wider community.
Throughout the weekend, we met hundreds of amazing people who stopped by our stand to chat about our work, 3D printing, prop making, and the creative process behind it all. Seeing people connect with our creations and share their enthusiasm for the hobby is always one of the most rewarding parts of attending conventions, and EM-CON delivered that in abundance.
The event also provided a fantastic opportunity to network with other traders and creators. Building relationships within the convention and industry is incredibly important, and we came away with new connections, fresh ideas, and exciting opportunities for the future.
From a business perspective, EM-CON Nottingham was one of our strongest events to date. We were genuinely taken aback by how well The Cosforge was received. The support shown by visitors exceeded our expectations, and the positive feedback we received throughout the weekend reinforced why we continue to push ourselves to create bigger and better pieces.
As we continue to grow, events like EM-CON serve as important milestones in our journey. They allow us to showcase our work to new audiences while strengthening relationships with the incredible community that surrounds cosplay and fandom culture.
The convention season is far from over. We're excited to announce that we'll be attending two more Monopoly Events conventions later this year:
